The Pokemon Expedition set was released in September 2002 and contains 165 cards. It was the first set made to be compatable with the Nintendo e-Reader peripheral. The design of these cards are slightly offset to make room for the “Dot-Code” strip… a barcode that, when scanned by the e-Reader, displays the Pokemon’s data, unlocks attacks, or allows you to play a minigame or music.
